It shall be unlawful for any person <br />under the age of twenty-cue years to visit or enter <br />in or engage in any way or loiter in or about any <br />room where the aforesaid games are being conducted <br />or carried on. <br /> <br /> Section 9. It shall be unlawful for any person <br />or persons, firm or corporation, their agents or <br />employees to wermit any person under the age of twenty- <br />one years to visit or enter in or engage in or loiter <br />about any room being conducted, maintained, or carried <br />on by said person or persons, firm or corporation, <br />their agents or employees where billi~rds, pool, <br />bagatelle, bowling alleys or other lawful games for <br />~rofit and gain are being conducted or carried on in <br />the City of Santa Aaa, California. <br /> <br /> Section lC. Any person violating the provisions <br />of this ordinance shall be guilty of s misdemeanor <br />and upon couvictlon shall be punished by s fine of <br />not less than twenty ($20.00) dollars nor more than <br />one hundred ($100.00) dollars or imprisoned~ifl the. <br />County Jail for a period of ten (lC) days or both <br />such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the <br />court. <br /> <br /> Section ll. All ordinanc~ or par~s of ordinances <br />as they effect this ordinance are to that extent <br />hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 12. The City Clerk shall cause this <br />ordinance to be ounished for three times in the Santa <br />Aaa Daily Evening Register a newspaper of ~ener~l <br />circulation in the City of Santa Aaa, Cal'fornia and <br />herein designated for that purpose and it shall go in <br />full force and effect thirty (50) days thereafter. <br /> <br /> The above ordinance w~s passed, adopted and approved <br />this 26th day of February, 1925, by the followin~ vote <br /> <br />Chapman, Dale, <br /> <br />to,wit: <br /> Ayes: Tubbs, <br /> Noes: ~one <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Greenle~f, Mitchell <br /> <br />Approved this 26th day of February, 1923. <br /> <br /> John O.
