Ak O~OINANCE of the city of Santa Ana submitting to the electors al said city a proposed charter for the government thereof, calling a special election for that purFose and providing for the holding of such election. Whereas, at an election held in the city of Santa Aha on the 9th d~y of Jan- uary, 1928, there was elected a Board of fifteen freeholders to prepare and propose a charter for the ~overnment of the city of S~nta An~; Whereas, the Board of freeholders so elected did, within 120 days after the result of such election was declared, prepare and pro- pose a charter for the government of the city of Santa Aha, which was, on the 13th day of February, 1923, s~gned by a majority of said b~mrd of freeholders and f~led the same in the office of the clerk of the city of ~ant~ Aha; Whereas, said Board of freeholders fixed and designated on the proposed charter before filin~ the s~me the l'~th d~y of April, 1925, as the d~te upon whiah the submitted to the electors Santa f. na. ~hereas, on the 1923, said proposed same should be of the city of 14th day of ~'ebruary, charter was published in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENIEG i~GISTEH, a paper of general circulation in the city of Santa Aha, the s~me being the official papers of said city; ~he Board of Trustees of the city of Sant~ Ana do ordain as follows:- Section 1.
