All of the elevations~ststed snd given in the Ordinance and which herein before fixed and established as the grades upon Roe Drive, Grant Street, Wakeham Avenue, Harwood Plsce, McFadden Street, NcClay Street, Chestnut Avenue, Lyon Street and First Street are bssed upon a datum plane adopted and established by Ordin- ance No. Sql of the City of Santa Aha, which datum plane is 1~.~88 feet below the center of a bench r~rk consisting of a copper plate flxed and located in the Northwest cornem of the City Hall of ganta Aha, and marked U.S. C~ st and Geodetic Survey B. M. All of the said elevations are ex- pressed in feet and hnndredths of feet and ~re above sa id datum plane. SECTION III. At all points on each street exist- ing between the consecutive designated points where the ele- vations are stated'and given, the grsde on that street shal conform to a true and uniform gradient, along the center· line of the street, between designated points. All the distance on e~ch street between said desig nated points at which the elevations are stated and given are to be measured ~long the cmnter line of that street un- less otherwise specifically herein provided. SECTION IV. This Ordinsnce shall be published three (3) times in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily ne~.sp~per printed, published ~ circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and shall take effect and ~e in force in thirty d~ys after its p~ssage. The above and foregoing 0rdinsnce No. ~4Z was re- gularly introduced before the Boa~d of Trustees of the City of Santa Aua at a regular adjourned meeti~g thereof held on the 10th day ~ March 1924, and passed and adopted by the said Board of Trustees at a regular meeting thereof, held
