notice similar in substance to the notices so posted to be published by t~o (2) insertions in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a d~ily newspaper, printed, published and circulated in said City of Santa Aha, which newspaper was designated by said Board of Trustees for that pnrpose~ all in accordance with, and as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk mailed postal cards in the manner and lorn required ~and directed by 0rdlnsnce of Intention No. VZV, and by the Street Opening Act ~ 1908; and WHEREAS, the time set for he~rlng protest, to-wit the lVth day ~ Narch, 19~4, same being a time more than thirty (g0) days after the l?th day of Januar~y, 1924, the President of the Board of Trustees called for said protests and the Clerk of said Board having advised the Board of Trustees that there were no written protests, and the ~resldent cf said Board having called for oral protests and there being none, the ti~e wlthtng which such protests must be filed against said Improvement having expired, the Board of Trustees did thereupon determine that there were no protests, and having thereupon acquired jurt~diction to order the improvement described in sa id Ordinance of In- tention No. NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City Santa Aha ordain as follows: SECTION I. That the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aua hereby orders the said improvement, to-wit, the extending and opening as extended of South Sycamore Street in said city from the South line of Wil~ire Avenue to the ~orth line of Borchard Avenue, excepting therefrom that portion shown as n~ belng opened aod dedicated on map of Tract No. ~52~ ~s per map thereof recorded Book 15, ~ gas l~ ~nd 16, of Niscellaneous Naps, records of Orange County, C~llfornia, all ~s set forth and in accord- auce with the provisions of Ordinance of Intention No. ~?. SECTION II. Said Board cf Trustees hereby directs an action to be brougtt by the City Attorney of said City of Santa Aha in the proper court, to-wit, the Superior CourJ cf the County ~ Orange, State of California, in the name of the municipality, to-wit, the City of S~nt~ Aha, for the condemnation of the property necessary or convenient to be taken for such improvement. SECTION III. Reference is hereby ~de to 0rdlnauce of Intention No. VZ?, for a description of the property convenient or necessary to!be taken for such improvement, ~nd ~lso f~ t]~ assessment district to be ~ssessed for such improvement.
