VV3. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, <br />REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS; ESTAB- <br />LISHING A CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY <br />FOR THE BREACH OF ANY OF THE RULES OR REGULATIONS REGARDING <br />TRAFFIC IN THIS ORDINANCE PROVIDED. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />California, does hereby ordain as follows, to-wit: <br /> ARTICLE I. DEFINITION <br /> <br /> Section I. V,~enever in this Ordinance the following <br />terms are used, .they shall be deemed and construed to have the <br />meaning ascribed to them in this Section: <br /> <br /> STREET: Any place contmonly used for the purpose of <br />public travel, excepting alley ways. <br /> <br /> ROADWAY: That portion of a street between the regu- <br />larly established curb lines. <br /> <br /> INTERSECTIONS: The area embraced within the prolong~ <br />tion of the property lines of two or more streets which Join <br />at an angle, whether or not one such street crosses another. <br /> <br /> CROSS WALE: That portion of the roadway included <br />within the prolongation of sidewalk lines at street intersec- <br />tions, and such other places as may be designated by boundary <br /> <br /> <br />
