said Resolution No. V59 was duly anproved by the executive of- <br />fleer of said City, attested by the City Clerk of said City, <br />and passage thereof verified by said City Clerk. <br /> <br /> That thereafter, ,nd on the 27th day of February, <br /> <br />192~, at an adjourned regular meeting of said Board of Trustees, <br />the B~.ard by a more than two-thirds vote of its members passed <br />its Ordinance No. 677 calling for Special Election and submit- <br />ting to the qualified voters of said City the proposition of <br />the Santa Ana Main Line Sewer proposal, reciting the objects <br />and purposes for which the indebtedness is to be incurred, the <br />necessity therefor, the estimated cost, and that bonds shall be <br />issued to represent said indebtedness. That said Ordinance was <br />duly anproved by the executive of the City of Santa Aha,and pub- <br />lished in the form and manner required by law. <br /> <br /> That thereafter and on the 4th day of April, 1922, a <br /> <br />vote of the electors of said City was held and the said bonds <br />were voted by ~ore than a two-thirds majority of all voters <br />voting. <br /> <br /> That thereafter the Santa Aha Main Line Sewer Bond <br /> <br />Fund was created by the sale of said bonds; and the proposed <br />sewer line constructed in all particulars as called for in the <br />plans and specifications duly adopted for sa~d work, and that <br />said system is now in use in the said City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br /> SECTION II. The Board of Trustees of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana now declares that the purposes and objects for which <br />the said Bond Fund was created have been fully accomplished and <br />that there is money remaining in said fund which is a surplus <br />and for which there is no use in connection with the said Santa <br />Aha Main Line Sewer. <br /> <br /> SECTION III. Therefore under the provisions of Sec- <br /> <br />tion Six (6) of Act 2900, approved 1889 and amendments thereto, <br />the Board of Trdstees of the City of Santa Ana do ordain and <br />order that the surplus money in the said Santa Aha Main Line <br />Sewer fund, to-wit, $28,899.29, be and the same is by this Ordl- <br />nance transferred to the General Fund of the City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance <br />to be published three (3) times in the Santa Ana Daily Evening <br />Register, a newspaper printed and published and generally cir- <br />culated in the City of Santa Ana, end hereby designated for the <br />publication of this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> ~ne above 0rdin~nce passed, adopted and approved this <br />l~th day of Jan., 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />Gao McPhee, E.B.
