RESOLUTION 65-109 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WINFRED R. SNYDER has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated June 16, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the south side of Eighth Street, 379 feet, more or less, west of
<br />Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of $675.00 and
<br />certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said transaction is
<br />to be handled through Escrow No. 53508-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CLEON E. SCHOONOVER and GERTRUDE C. SCHOONOVER have
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated June 16, 1965, conveying real
<br />property for street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street,
<br />180 feet, more or less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of
<br />the sum of $1,720.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
<br />City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53526-C
<br />with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHARLES E. CUSHMAN and HELEN CUSHMAN have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated June 15, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 265 feet, more
<br />or less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the sum of
<br />$2,100.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53516-C with
<br />Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BANE ELIZABETH BURCH has delivered to the City a
<br />deed dated June 19, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the south side of Eighth Street, 470 feet, more or less, west of
<br />Bristol Street, in consideration of the sum of $680.00 and certain
<br />remedial work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be
<br />handled through Escrow No. 53506-C with Security Title Insurance
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, TRINIDAD ALMANZA and JUANITA ALMANZA have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated June 23, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 225 feet, more
<br />or less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the sum of
<br />$1,500.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53517-C with
<br />Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SANTOS M. YORBA and SALOMA E. YORBA have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated June 21, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 278 feet, more
<br />or less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the sum of
<br />$690.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow NO. 53510-C with
<br />Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HARRY R. PERNELL and MYRTLE J. PERNELL have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated June 25, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 440 feet, more
<br />or less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the sum of
<br />$687.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53507-C with
<br />Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
<br />Ana accepts said deeds, and Homer Sterling, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.
