RESOLUTION 65-112 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BROOMELL CORPORATION has delivered to the City a
<br />deed dated April 16, 1965, conveying an easement for sewer and storm
<br />drain purposes south of First Street, 1,000 feet west of Tustin
<br />Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PRUDENTIAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, a
<br />California corporation, Has delivered to the City a deed dated June 8,
<br />1965, conveying an easement for street purposes at the southeast
<br />corner of Lyon and Chestnut Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THOMAS W. SCUDDER and BESSIE L. SCUDDER have
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated July 1, 1965, conveying an ease-
<br />ment for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 136 feet
<br />west of Pacific Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FIRST EVANGELICAL UNITED BRETHERN CHURCH OF SANTA
<br />ANA, a corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated July 6,
<br />1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the east side of
<br />Grand Avenue, 725 feet, more or less, south of Santa Clara Avenue;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CRAIG DEVELOPMENT CORP., a corporation, has
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated May 18, 1965, conveying to the
<br />City Lots A and B of Tract No. 3902 on the south side of Santa Clara
<br />Avenue, 1162 feet, more or less, west of Tustin Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROY D. MOULTON and ALICE P. MOULTON have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated July 12, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the west side of Euclid Street, north of Silver
<br />Drive; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Homer Sterling, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of July, 1965.
