RESOLUTION 65-113 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROLLAND J. BERRY and SYLVIA D. BERRY have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated June 30, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />drainage purposes 150 feet south of Camille Street, 640 feet east of
<br />Newhope Street, in consideration of the payment of $107.00. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 872193-hrb with First
<br />American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, S. KOEPPLE has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />July 6, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the north
<br />side of Eighth Street, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of
<br />the payment of $1,170.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow NO. 53610-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MANUEL C. AVILA and LUCY H. AVILA have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated July 10, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 220 feet, more or
<br />less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of
<br />$657.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53511-C with Security
<br />Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MARIA ELENA R. BANDA has delivered to the City a
<br />deed dated July 3, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the south side of Eighth Street, 320 feet, more or less, west of
<br />Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of $665.00 and certain
<br />remedial work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be
<br />handled through Escrow No. 53509-C with Security Title Insurance
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MIKE P. REYES and LUPE R. REYES have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated July 10, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 420 feet, more or less,
<br />west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of $3,578.00.
<br />Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53513-C with
<br />Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> W~LEREAS, ARTHUR R. MERCADO and ELLA R. MERCADO have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated July 10, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 480 feet, more or
<br />less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of
<br />$3,000.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53512-C with Security
<br />Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
<br />Aha accepts said deeds, and Homer Sterling, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of July, 1965.
