That the City planning commission shall have power, except aa <br /> otherwise provided by law: <br /> <br /> FIRST: To recommend to the pooper officers of the municlpa~- <br /> ity plans for the regulation of the future growth, developement and <br /> beautification of the municipality in respect to its public and private <br /> buildin~;s and works, streets, parks, grounds, and vacant lots; <br /> <br /> SECOND: To recommend to the proper office of the municipal- <br /> ity, plans, consistent with the future growth and development of the <br /> municipality in order to secure to the city and its inhabitants sani- <br /> tation, proper~service of all public utilities, harbor, shipping and <br /> transportation facilities; <br /> <br /> THIED: To make recommendations to any public authorities <br /> or any corporation or individuals of such city with reference to the <br /> location of any proposed buildings, structures or works; <br /> <br /> FOURTH: To recommend to the proper officers of the munlei- <br /> pality the approval or disapproval of maps or plats of subdivisions <br /> of lands. Every such map or plat shall, prior to its final approval <br /> <br /> or disapproval by the proper officers of the municipality be submit- <br /> <br />'ted to said commission for its recommendations thereon to such offi- <br /> cers. And such other things as shall be necessary to carry out the <br /> provisions herein authorized, and as is provided in Act 5211, General <br /> <br /> Laws of California 19~3 and amendments thereto. <br /> SECTION V. <br /> <br /> That the formation of such a commission is deemed necessary <br /> <br /> and advisable for the welfare of said City of Santa And, California. <br /> SECTION VI. <br /> <br /> The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be published <br /> three times in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation, published and circulated in said City, and it <br /> shall take effect thirty (~0) days after the date of f~mt publica- <br /> tion thereof. <br /> <br /> The above Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting <br /> <br /> of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa And, on the let day <br /> of March, 1926, and adopted at an adjourned regular meeting thereof <br /> held on March 22nd, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees C.H. Chapman, Geo McPhee, E.B. Collier, <br /> <br /> Stanley E. Goode. <br />Noes, Trustees None <br />Absent, Trustees None <br /> <br />F.L. Purinton <br /> <br />Approved this 22nd day of March, 1926. <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> F. L.
