RESOLUTION 65-138 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BDWARD T. HAMMER and MAXINE A. HAMMER have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated August 25, 1965, granting a continuing
<br />Offer of Dedication of an easement for street purposes for Stanford
<br />Street, west of Bristol Street; said offer of dedication shall
<br />expire on August 25, 1975, unless previously accepted by the City; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOE G. SALCEDO and MARGARET M. SALCEDO have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated August 6, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the east side of Custer Street, 60 feet south of
<br />Washington Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RAFAELA S~J~CIDO, also known as RAFAELA SALCEDO has
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated August 6, 1965, conveying easements
<br />for street purposes on the east side of Custer Street and the south
<br />side of Washington Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THOMAS C. RIDGWAY, JR. has delivered to the City a
<br />deed dated August 25, 1965, conveying an easement for alley purposes
<br />east of Patton Street and a spandrel shaped parcel of land at the
<br />northeast corner of Eighth and Parton Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LILLIE M. WEBB and LILLIAN I. BERGER, who acquired
<br />title as LILLIAN I. WEBB, have delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />August ~0, 1965, granting vehicular access rights to the south side
<br />of Fifth Street, west of Fairview Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WESTERN-UNITED LAND COMPANY, a partnership, has
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated August 20, 1965, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes on the east side of Harbor Boulevard,
<br />north of Kent Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, T. R. BOLTE DEVELOPMENT INC., a California corporation,
<br />and ERICO, INC., a California corporation, have delivered to the City
<br />a deed dated August 26, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes for Edinger Avenue, Grand Avenue to Southern Pacific Railroad
<br />right of way; said transaction is to be handled through EscrOw Number
<br />872570 with First American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa
<br />Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, NELLIE
<br />RUTH SEGERSTROM, HENRY T. SEGERSTROM, YVONNE de C. SEGF~RSTROM, HAROLD
<br />T. SEGERSTROM, JR., and JEANETTE E. SEGERSTROM have delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated August 18, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes for Garry Avenue, west of Bristol Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor Pro Tempore
<br />is hereby authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City
<br />of Santa Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's
<br />designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance
<br />on said deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1965.
