RESOLUTION 65-144 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA, ARTHUR R. MERCADO, and ELLA R. MERCADO have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated June 11, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Bristol
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $3,000.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be handled
<br />through Escrow No. 53512-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
<br />Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LILY STICKLER has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />September 8, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />north side of Eighth Street, west of Bristol Street, in consideration
<br />of the sum of $3,330.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
<br />City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53514-C
<br />with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HERBERT A. COOK has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated September 9, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the north side of Eighth Street, 300.17 feet, more or less, east
<br />of Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,690.00 and
<br />certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to
<br />be handled through Escrow No. 53767-C with Security Title Insurance
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HERBERT A. COOK has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated September 9, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the north side of Eighth Street, 181.35 feet, more or less, east
<br />of Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,270.00 and
<br />certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to
<br />be handled through Escrow No. 53765-C with Security Title Insurance
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHERF2%S, HAROLD E. ROSS and ELNORA ROSS have delivered to the
<br />city a deed dated August 31, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific Avenue,
<br />in consideration of the sum of $2,105.00 and certain remedial work
<br />to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 872591-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EULA S. TEJADA has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />September 9, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific Avenue, in consideration
<br />of the sum of $2,495.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
<br />City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 872586-hrb
<br />with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, GENARO FERNANDEZ and IRMA FERNANDEZ have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated August 31, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,980.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 872592-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, OTIS CRAWFORD and MARGARET CRAWFORD have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated August 31, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,080.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 872587-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Aha, California; and
