RESOLUTION 65-164 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVING OF WARNER AVENUE, EAST OF GREENVILLE STREET WHEREAS, Warner Avenue as it now exists east of Greenville Street is inadequate in width to accomodate the flow of traffic presently using said street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that the public interest and necessity require that Warner Avenue be widened and improved on the south side, east of Greenville Street, and does require that said City do have and acquire an easement for street purposes over, through and across certain lands in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 1: An easement for street purposes over the Northerly 36.00 feet of the following described property: The West 54 acres of Lot 10 of the Williams Tract, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, page 14, Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 10, and running thence South along the West line of said Lot, 279.00 feet to a point 838.02 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 10; thence Easterly along a line parallel to the Northerly line of said Lot 10, 452.00 feet; thence Northerly along a line l~rallel to the West line of said Lot 10; thence West 452.00 feet to the point of beginning. ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of Lot 10 of the Williams Tract, as per map recorded in Book 30, page 14, Deeds, in the office of the County Recorder of LOS Angeles County, California, 700.47 feet Easterly of the Northwest corner of said Lot 10, and running thence West along said Northerly line of said Lot 10, 50.00 feet; thence Southerly at right angles 50.00 feet; thence Easterly at right angles 50.00 feet and thence Northerly at right angles 50.00 feet to the point of beginning. ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion previously dedicated for street purposes. PARCEL 2: An easement for street purposes over that portion of the following described property: Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of Lot 10 of the Williams Tract, as per map recorded in Book 30, page 14, Deeds, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, 700.47 feet Easterly of the Northwest corner of said Lot 10, and running thence West along said Northerly line of said Lot 10, 50.00 feet; thence Southerly at right angles 36.00 feet; thence Easterly 32.53 feet; thence Northerly 3.00 feet; thence Easterly 12.00 feet; thence Southerly 3.00 feet; thence Easterly 5.47 feet; thence Northerly 36.00 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion previously dedicated for street purposes.
