ORDINANCE NO. 870 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CEHTAIN REAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana do ordain as follows: WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appearing to the City Council of the City of Santa Aha that it would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of Santa Ana to sell the real property hereinafter described; and WItEREAS, it further satisfactorily appearing to said City Council that the said real property is not being used for any public use and that the same is unsuitable therefor; and ~ ~'~EREAS, an adequate and sufficient consideration has been offered to the City of Santa ~na by the S~I~TA ANA CHAM~ER OF COMmeRCE, a Corporation, for the said described real property; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDAINED ASFOLLOWS: That it would be the benefit and best interest of the City of Santa Ana that the following described real property belonging to the said City of Santa Aha, and situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northwest quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Fifteen (15), Township Five~ (5) South, Range Ten (10) West, S.B.B.&.M.; thence North 0o l~' 50" West 1320.12 feet to the center of said Section Fifteen (15); thence North 89o 46' 10" East 280.26 feet; thence South 13° 16' l~" West 104.70 feet; thence North 89° 46~ l~' East 10~9.58 feet to the Northeast corner of the North- west quarter (~¥ 1/4) of the_Southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section Fifteen (15); thence South 0° 06~ 50" East 1305.05 feet to the Southeast corner of said Northwest quarter (~ 1/~) of the Southeast quarter (SE 1/4) ~of Section Fifteen (15); thence South 0~ lO~ ~0" ~ast 1~05.98 feet to the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter (SW 1/4] of the Southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Fifteen (l§); thence North 89~ 47' 10" ~¥est 5V3.V6 feet; thence North 21° 00' 00" ~est 78.35 feet; thence South 89° ~' 2~' West ?15.4~ feet to the Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section Pifteen (15); thence South 0° 20' 4~' East, l~lT.~l feet to the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Twenty-two (~2), Township Five (5) South, Range Ten (10) West S.B.B.&.M.; thence South 89 30~ 40" West 1033.8~ feet more or less to the Southeasterly line of the Official bed of the Santa Ana River; thence Northeasterly along said Southeasterly line of the official bed of the Santa Aha River to an intersection with the Northerly line of the Southeast ~uarter (SE 1/4) of the Southwest quarter (SW 1/4) of said Section Fifteen 15); thence North 89o 36' 30" East to the point of beginning; subject to reservations of record and estimated to contain 121.02 acres. The hereinbefore described property is a metes and bounds description accord- ing to actual survey and includes only that property deeded to the ~City of Santa Ana, California, as follows: A portion of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1.4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Fifteen (15) Township Five (5) South, Range Ten (10) West S.B.B.&.M., deeded by Mary Miller by deed recorded in Deed Book 39, Page 205, Records of Orange County, California, and described in said deed as follows: Beginning at a point North 89-3/4° East 2642 feet distant from the Southwest co~ner of Section Fifteen (lS), Township Five (5) South, Range Ten (10) ~est, S.B.B.&.M., (as established in the survey of the Stearns Ranchos); thence North 1320 feet; thence East 580 feet to the ~¥est line of the West tract; thence South 20-3~4° East 1402 feet along the ~est line of the ~est Tract; thence South 89-3~4° ~est 1138 feet to the point of beginning, containing twenty-six (25) acres.
