p~eperty would be <br /> Section 2. <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 8V5. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> A~NDING FIRE ORDINANCE N0. 864 OF <br /> SAID CITY. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha do ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the portion of Section 6 of Article 6 of the Code of Rules an~ <br />Regulations regulating the handling, keeping, storing, transporting, dispensing and use <br />of inflammable liquids in the City of Santa Ana adopted by Ordinance No. 864 on the 28th <br />day of January, 1929, pertaining to the storing, and keeping of inflammable liquids is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "No Class One inflammable liquid shall be dispensed in any basement or cellar <br />or premises which is lower than the adjoining curb level or actual adjoining ground <br />leval. All Class One Inflammable liquid shall be kept underground with the following <br />exceptions: <br /> <br /> ~en not more than ten gallons are kept in the container of a visible pump. <br /> ~en not more than one gallon is kept for cleaning purposes as specified <br /> in this code. <br /> ~en kept in approved containers for Cla~s One liquids. <br /> ~'~nen kept in original containers for Class One liquids. <br /> ~en kept in portable wheeled tanks or buggies. <br /> When kept in storage at jobbers plans. <br /> (including bulk and package). <br /> When being transported in tank trucks. <br /> <br />provided, however, that the City Council may in their discretion grant a ~ rmit to any <br />person, firm or corporation owning acreage property within said City to store and keep <br />Class One inflammable liquidaabove ground in a tank to be approved by the Fire Chie f, <br />which tank shall be located at a point not less than one hundred (100) feet from any <br />adjoining property and not less than fifty (50) feet from any wooden structure or <br />building, which permit may be revoked at any time by said City Council, after notice to <br />the person holding such permit, when in the opinion of said City Council the public life <br /> <br /> endangered thereby." <br /> <br /> The City C~erk shall certify to the pass~ge of this ordinance and <br />cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Aua Daily Evening Register, a <br />daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Santa &ua, and said <br />ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its final passnge. <br /> <br /> The foregoing ordinance is approved this 3rd day of June, 1929. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> E.
