ORDINANCE NO. 892 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CITY PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, WITH MEMBERSHIP, POV~HS AND DUTIES AS PROVIDED BY STATE LAW: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana do ordain as follows: Section 1. A City Planning Commission in and for the City of Santa Aha, is hereby established, with membership, powers and duties as provided by Statutes of the ~ State of california. Section 2. The members of the existing City Planning Conanission shall continue in office until the expiration of their respective te~ms or until a vacancy occurs, with powers and duties ~as specified by State law, in addition to the powers and duties they already possess. Their successors shall be appointed with ter~s as ~providedby State law. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict Herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published three (3) times in the S~nta Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper printed, published and generally circulated in the City of Santa Ar~, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days ~rom the date ~f its final passage.
