RESOLUTION 65-166 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DAVID JACk, AN and SYLVIA JACKMAN have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated September 28, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Western
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,400.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be handled
<br />through Escrow No. 870516-hrb with First American Title Insurance
<br />& Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROSIE JEFFERSON, a widow, has delivered to the City
<br />a deed dated August 31, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific Avenue, in con-
<br />sideration of the sum of $1,675.00 and certain remedial work to be
<br />done by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 872581-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF CALI-
<br />FORNIA, CHARLES M. L. CARR and JUANITA D. CARR have delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated September 10, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 500 feet, more or less,
<br />west of Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,490.00 and
<br />certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to
<br />be handled through Escrow No. 872595-hrb with First American Title
<br />Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF CALI-
<br />FORNIA, HERBERT WILLIAMS, JR., and MERLIE WILLIAMS have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated August 31, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,880.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 872585-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF CALI-
<br />FORNIA, DONALD PAGE and MINNIE MAE PAGE have delivered to the City a
<br />deed dated August 31, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the south side of Eighth Street, 450 feet, more or less, west of
<br />Pacific Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,035.00 and certain
<br />remedial work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be
<br />handled through Escrow No. 872594-hrb with First American Title
<br />Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ANDREA OSUNA has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />September 16, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />north side of Eighth Street, east of Raitt Street, in consideration
<br />of the sum of $770.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
<br />City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 870521-hrb
<br />with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EMANUEL E. MORALES and LUCY M. MORALES have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated October 2, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Western
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,960.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 870518-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
