RESOL~£ION 65-184 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION FOR <br />STREET PURPOSES FOR FAIRVIEW STREET SOUTH OF <br />SEGERSTROM AVENUE TO ALTON STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Fairview Street is p~esently proposed to be extended <br />south of Segerstrom Avenue to provide an artery for north and south <br />vehicular traffic. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the public <br />interest and necessity require that Fairview Street be extended <br />south of Segerstrom Avenue to Alton Street as shown on maps thereof <br />on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and herein <br />referred to for greater detail, and further require that said City <br />do have, take and acquire easements for street purposes over, through <br />and across certain lands in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL A: <br /> <br />An easement for street purposes over that portion of the <br />South half of Lot 4 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a <br />map thereof recorded in Book 30, Page 14, Deeds, records <br />of Los Angeles County, California, lying within the <br />following described property: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: A strip of land 30.00 feet in width the East <br />line of which is 7.5 feet Westerly, measured at right <br />angles,from the following described line: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center line of <br />Segerstrom Avenue and Fairview Street as shown on a <br />Record of Survey map recorded in Book 66, at page 8, of <br />Records of Surveys, County of Orange, California, and <br />running thence Southerly in a straight line to a point <br />on the center line of Alton Street, formerly Talbert <br />Avenue, which is 1,115.00 feet Westerly, measured along <br />said center line of Alton Street, from the intersection of <br />the center lines of said Alton Street and Greenville <br />Street, formerly Old Ne~-port Road, said 30.00 foot strip <br />to be terminated Southerly by the South line of the <br />following described property: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point 250.00 feet North of the Southeast <br />corner of said Lot 4; thence West 680.00 feet; thence <br />South 150.00 feet to the North line of the Pacific Electric <br />Railroad right of way; thence West 1,176.56 feet, more or <br />less, to the West line of said Lot 4; thence North along <br />said West line to the Northwest corner of the South half <br />of said Lot 4; thence East along the North line of the <br />South half of said Lot 4 to the Northeast corner of said <br />South half; thence South to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />Parcel 2: An irregularly shaped parcel of land bounded <br />Westerly by the East line of Parcel 1; bounded Southerly <br />by the Easterly extension of the South line of Parcel 1; <br />and bounded Easterly by the following described line: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the East line of Parcel 1, said <br />point being 217.03 feet Northerly from the Southeast <br />corner of said Parcel 1, said point being a point on a <br />curve concave Easterly having a radius of 400.00 feet, <br />and tangent to said East line of Parcel 1; thence Southerly <br />along the arc of said curve through a central angle of <br />15° 44' 26" an arc distance of 109.89 feet to a point of <br />reverse curvature with a curve concave Westerly having a <br />radius of 400.00 feet; thence Southerly along the arc of <br />said curve through a central angle of 15° 43' 35" an arc <br />distance of 109.79 feet to the South line of Parcel 2. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
