ORDINANCE NO. 925 AN oRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AMENDING SECTION 1 of ORDINANCE NO. 669, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 732, PROVIDING FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF ADVERTISING MATTER UPON THE pUBLIC STRA~TS AND ~ PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA. The City Council of the C~ty of Santa Ana do ordain as follows: Sectio~ 1. That Section i of Ordinance No. 669, as amended by Ordinance No. 732 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1. It sh~ll be unlawful for any person, firm or corporatio~ to circulate, pass or distribute upon the public streets or in any public places, or to deposit or distribute in the yard, porch or premises of any residence within the corporate limits of the City of santa Aha, any circuls~, poster, notice, card or other advertising matter, provided that this ordinance shall not.p~hibit any person from circulating, passing or distributing circulars, posters, notices, cards or other advertising matter upon re~l property which is then under his control; and provided further that this ordinance shall not prohibit the distribution of advertising matter when handed to the occupant of a residenceby the person or persons distributing the sa~ but no distribution thereof shall b~ made at any other place than upon the property occupied by the person to whom such advertising matter is handed." Section 2. That all other parts of Ordinance No. 669 shall remain and be in full force and effect, except insofar as changed by the terms of this ordinance. Section ~. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, daily newsRaper-prin~ed~ published and generally circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and t~e same shall take effect and be in force thirty (~0) days from the date of final passage. 1930.
