ORDINANCE N0. 938 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 817 REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS; ESTAB- LISHING A CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. The City Council of the C~ty of Santa Aha do ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section i of Article I of Ordinance No. 817 defining CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT IBt is hereby amended to read as follows: "CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT B: In Addition to ~hose portions of streets enumerated in Ordinance No. 817, and amendments thereto, as CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT lBt, the following portions of streets are hereby declared to be ~in CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT ~Bt So-wit: Walnut Street, from the West line of Orange Avenue to the East line of Patton Street. Pine Street, from the West line of Main Street to the East line of Broadway. Orange Avenue, from the South line of First Street to the North line . of W. alnut Street. Cypress Avenue, from the South line of First Street to the North line of Walnut Street. Sycamore Street, from the South line of First Street to the North line of Pine Street. Broadway, from the South line of Firs~t Street, to the North line of Pine Street. Birch Street, from the south line of First Street to the North line of Walnut Street. Ross StrSet, from the South line of First Street to the North line of Camile Street. Patton Street, from the South line of Walnut Street to the North line of Camile Street. Section 2. That all the provisions of Ordinance No. 817, and amend- merits thereto, providing for the penalty for a violation thereof, and providing the ~ules and regulations of those portions of streets enumerated in Central Traffic District ~B~, shall be applicable to the provisions of this ordinance,~ and any portion of any ordinance in conflict herewith to that extent is hereby ~epealed. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a newspaper printed and published in and generally circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and the newspaper designated for the publication of this ordinance, and the same shall take effect thirty days from the date of final passage.
