RESOLUTION 65-196 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND DENYING CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. 208 FILED BY GEORGE B. <br />DUCOT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning <br />CO~mission granted a Conditional Use Permit on Application No. 208 <br />filed by GEORGE B. DUCOT for permission to construct a rest home <br />in an R-1 District at 1605 North English Street, Santa Ana, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 169 was duly filed by JOHN C. <br />MacFARLAND appealing the decision of the Planning Commission to grant <br />said Conditional Use Permit and requesting a hearing before the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing on public notice, has <br />determined that said Conditional Use Permit does not meet the statute <br />or ordinance requirements for granting of a conditional use permit; <br />that the decision of the Planning Commission should be overruled; <br />and that said Conditional Use Permit should be denied. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning <br />Co~u~ission and does hereby deny Conditional Use Permit on Application <br />No. 208. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of December, 1965. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
