310 ORDINANCE NO. 968 AN ORDINANCE A~NDING SECTION XXVI OP ORDINANCE NO. 817 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIO STREETS; ESTABLISHING A CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT; AI~D PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE BREACH OF ANY OF THE RULES OR REGULATIONS REGARDING TRAFFIC IN THIS ORDINANCE PROVIDED, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HER~¥ITH . The City Council of the City of Santa Ana ordains as follows: That Section XXVI of Ordinance No. 817, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,. REGULATING TRAVEL AND TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS; ESTABLISHING A CENTRAL TRAFFIC DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR .THE BREACH OF ANY OF THE RULES OR REGULATIONS REGARDING TRAFFIC IN THIS 0t(DINANCE PROVIDED, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH," is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION XXVI. PARKING TIME LIMITED IN CERTAIN PLACES: Subject to the provisions of Sections Twenty-four (24) and Twenty-five (25) of this ordinance, between the hours of seven A.M. and six P.M. of any day, excepting Sundays and Holidays, it shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park said vehicle in any part of Central Traffic District A for a period of time longer than forty-five (48) minutes or in Central Traffic District B for a period of time longer than two (2) hours, or in any business district other than that covered by the Central Traffic District for a period of time lo~ger than two (2) hours. The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized to erect and maintain signs designating the provisions of this Section." The City Clerk is hereby instructed to cause this ordinance to be published three times in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a newspaper printe. and published in, and generally circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby designated for the publication of this Ordinance.
