ORDIN~NCE NO. 972 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AY~ENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 30, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE IN RELATION <br />TO THE "~, · <br /> CARE AND CUSTODY OF THE BOOKS~ RECORDS <br />AND PAP~S OF THE TOWN, A~ TO OFFICE HOURS <br />IN THE CI~ERKtS 0PFICE.' <br /> <br />The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana ordain as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 30, reading as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 3. The Clerk's office shall be kept <br />open between the hours of 9o~clock A.~. and 12 o~clock <br />and the hours of 1:30 P.M. and 5 o'clock P.M., of each and <br />every day, Sundays and legal holidays excepted". <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 3. All offices in the City Hall, except- <br />ing the Police Department, in the City of Santa Ana, Orange <br />County, State of California, shall be kept open between the <br />hours of 8 A.M. and 12 o~clock noon, and between the hours <br />of i P.~. and 5 P.M., for five (5) days a week, viz., Monday, <br />Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, legal holidays <br />excepted. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: An emergency is hereby declared to exist owing to the fact that in <br /> <br />order to carry out an economy program among the employees of the City of Santa Aha, it <br /> <br />has been found necessary to keep open the offices of the City Hall, with the exception <br /> <br />of the Police Department, for only five days a week, viz., ~ionday~ Tue§day, Wednesday <br /> <br />Thursday and Friday, and this ordinance is necessary to carry out said economy program. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall therefore take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />The foregoing ordinance is approved this 2Vth day of February, 1933. <br /> <br />ATTkoT. <br /> <br /> Paul B.
