RESOLUTION NO. 62-18 OVERRULING THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR AND GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1583 <br />ON APPEAL APPLICATION NO. 53 FILED BY HAROLD <br />E. AND IRENE WILSON SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS TO <br />BE DETERMINED AT A FUTURE MEETING OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator <br />denied Variance Application No. 1583, filed by GARDEN GROVE DEVELOP- <br />MENT CO., which said Variance was requested to construct a one-story <br />twelve-unit apartment building in an R-1 District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 53 was duly filed with the <br /> <br />City Council by HAROLD E. and IRENE WILSON, appealing the denial of <br />said Variance by the Zoning Administrator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council, after careful <br />consideration of the statements contained in and the materials <br /> <br />accompanying the application, the testimony offered at the hearing, <br /> <br />examination of all of the facts established, and after determining <br /> <br />that said Variance Application meets the requirements of Section <br /> <br />9250.8 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, it has been determined that <br /> <br />the Zoning Administrator should be overruled and that said Variance <br /> <br />should be granted subject to certain conditions to be determined at <br /> <br />a future meeting of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana hereby grants Appeal Application No. 53 and grants <br /> <br />a Variance on Variance Application No. 1583 to permit the construction <br /> <br />Of a one-story twelve-unit apartment building in the R-1 District on <br /> <br />certain land located in the 900 Block of South Shelton Street in the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana and described as: <br /> <br />The South 102.5 feet of the North 167.5 feet of the following: <br />Comraencing 55.02 chains South and 15 chains East of the <br />Northwest corner of Section 13, Township 5 South, Range 10 <br />West, thence North 5 chains, East 5 chains, then 5 chains to <br />a point 340 feet North of the centerline of Fairhaven Avenue; <br />thence 5 chains West to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
