RESOLUTION NO. 62-18 OVERRULING THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AND GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1583 ON APPEAL APPLICATION NO. 53 FILED BY HAROLD E. AND IRENE WILSON SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS TO BE DETERMINED AT A FUTURE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator denied Variance Application No. 1583, filed by GARDEN GROVE DEVELOP- MENT CO., which said Variance was requested to construct a one-story twelve-unit apartment building in an R-1 District; and WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 53 was duly filed with the City Council by HAROLD E. and IRENE WILSON, appealing the denial of said Variance by the Zoning Administrator; and WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council, after careful consideration of the statements contained in and the materials accompanying the application, the testimony offered at the hearing, examination of all of the facts established, and after determining that said Variance Application meets the requirements of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, it has been determined that the Zoning Administrator should be overruled and that said Variance should be granted subject to certain conditions to be determined at a future meeting of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby grants Appeal Application No. 53 and grants a Variance on Variance Application No. 1583 to permit the construction Of a one-story twelve-unit apartment building in the R-1 District on certain land located in the 900 Block of South Shelton Street in the City of Santa Ana and described as: The South 102.5 feet of the North 167.5 feet of the following: Comraencing 55.02 chains South and 15 chains East of the Northwest corner of Section 13, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, thence North 5 chains, East 5 chains, then 5 chains to a point 340 feet North of the centerline of Fairhaven Avenue; thence 5 chains West to the point of beginning, -1-
