RESOLUTION NO. 62-20 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE <br />CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RAY DeBROUWER and MARIE DeBROUWER have presented to <br /> <br />the City a deed dated January 4, 1962, conveying an easement for <br />street purposes on the North side of First Street, East of Verano /~'~'~' <br /> <br />Street, in consideration of the payment of $1,200.00. Said trane- <br /> <br />action is to be handled through Escrow No. 863778-HRB with Orange <br /> <br />County Title Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, QUINTON E. NEWTON and JANET L. NEWTON have presented <br /> <br />to the City a deed dated January 3, 1962, conveying an easement for <br />street purposes on the West side of Fairview Street, South of Ninth/~.~ <br />Street, in consideration of the payment of $2,800.00. Said trane- <br /> <br />action is to be handled through Escrow No. 45976-C with Security <br /> <br />Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, R. G. MITCHELL and MARGUERITE E. MITCHELL, also known <br />as Margaret E. Mitchell, have presented to the City a deed dated J ~/~'- <br />January 31, 1962, conveying a parcel of real property for park site /~ <br />on the South side of Fruit Street, East of Sherry Lane, in considera- <br />tion of the payment of $95,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled <br />through Escrow No. 863887-JL with Orange County Title Company, Santa <br />Ana, California. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
