This election is called and held, and said $280,000.00 of bonds are to be issued, pursuant to the provisions of said act approved April 26 1909, and in the manner provided for in an act entitled "An act authorizing the incurring of indebtedness by cities, towns and municipal corporations for municipal improvements, 'and regulating the acquisition~ construction or completion thereof," in effect February 25, 1901, as amended. Section 8. That the city council of said city shall meet at its usual place of meeting in the City Hall on Monday, August 27, 1934, at 7:30 otclock P.M. of said day and proceed to canvass the election returns and declare the resul~ of said election. Section ~. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance by a vote of more than two-thirds of all the members of the city council of said city at a regular meeting of said council and its approval by the Mayor of said city, and shall cause said ordinance to be pub- lished once a day for at leAmt seven days in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published six days a week in said city.
