RESOLUTION NO. 62-27 REQUESTING THE BOARD OF <br />SUPERVISORS TO APPROVE SPECIAL COUNTY CLERK <br />SERVICES IN THE HOLDING OF A SPECIAL SANTA ANA <br />CITY ELECTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has called a Special Bond <br />Election to be held on the 13th day of March, 1962, and in the holding <br />of the same it will be necessary to have available to the City lists <br />of all qualified registered electors eligible to vote in said election, <br />and it will be necessary to mail sample ballots to said qualified <br />electors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County Clerk of Orange County, in the performance <br />of his duty as Registrar of Voters, maintains lists of all registered <br />voters, and the County of Orange has the equipment to duplicate said <br />lists and to transfer the names and addresses of registered electors <br />to envelopes for mailing to said electors. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana, California, hereby requests the Board of Super- <br />visors of the County of Orange, California, to permit the County <br />Clerk of said County to render services to the City of Santa Aha in <br />the conducting of said Special Bond Election by preparing four (4) <br />sets of indexes of registered electors qualified to vote in said <br />election at three cents per name, and by the addressing of approxi- <br />mately 41,000 envelopes, one to each registered elector for the <br />mailing of sample ballots to said electors, at the rate of one cent <br />per name. Said City Council is informed that the rates herein <br />contained are those presently fixed by the County of Orange for the <br />rendering of this service, and for and on behalf of the City agrees <br />to pay the same for said services. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City cf Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />6LN K OF TH .
