379 <br /> <br />California, will pay to the bearer on the 1st day of , 19 <br />the sum of TWENTY DOLLARS in any coin or currency whi'c~ on said date s~ <br />legal tender for the payment of public and private debts at the office of <br />the City Treastt~er of the City of Santa Aha, Orange County, C~lifornia, <br />being six monthst interest then due on its City Hall Bond, dated August <br />1934, and bering No. . <br /> <br />T~eas~u, er of the City of Santa Aha, <br /> California. <br /> <br />(FORM OF REGISTRATION STATEMENT) <br /> <br />19 . <br /> <br /> This bond is registered pursuant to the statute in such cases made <br />and provided in the name of <br />and the interest and principal thereo£are hereafter payable to such owner. <br /> <br /> Treasurer of the City of Santa Aha, <br /> California. <br /> <br /> Section 6~ That said oonds have Oeen sold oy ~he City Council of said City <br /> to the United States of America and that the proceeds of the sale of said City Hall <br /> Bonds shall forthwith be ~ned over and placed to the credit of a fund of the City cf <br /> Santa A~a, to be known as "1934 CITY HALL BOND FUND" and shall be used exclusively for <br /> the erection and construction and completion of the ~m~cipal improvement descrioed in <br /> the preposition set out in the recitals hereof. <br /> <br /> Section ?. That for the purpose of paying the principal and interest of <br />maid City Hall Bonds, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha shall at the time of <br />fixing the general tax levy, and in the manner for such general tax levy provided, <br />lewy and collect annually each year until said bonds are paid or until thers shall be <br />sum in the Treasury of said city set apart for that p~rpose sufficient to meet all sttms <br />coming due for principal and interest of said bonds, a tax sufficient to pay the annual <br />interest on said bonds, and also such part of the principal thereof as shall become due <br />before the time for fixing the next general tax levy. Said tax shall be in addition <br />to all other taxes levied for municipal purposes and shall be collected at the time and <br />in the same manner as other municipal taxes are collected, and shall forthwith be <br />turned over and paid into a fund of the City of Santa Aha, to be known as "1934 CITY HAL <br />BONDS INTEREST AND BOND REDEMPTION FLrND". Said fund sha~l be used for no other purpose <br />than the payment of said bonds and accruing interest thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 8~ That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of <br />this ordinance by a vote of at least two-thirds of all the members of the City Council <br />of said City of Santa Aha at a regular meeting ef slid Council and to its approval <br />by the Mayor of said city and shall cause this ordinance to ce published three times <br />in the SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, a newspaper of general circulation printed <br />and published in slid City of Santa Aha . <br /> <br /> Section 9..
