RESOLUTION NO. 62-38 CHANGING THE NAME OF <br />SUGAR AVENUE TO McFADDEN AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there exist in the City of Santa Aha two public streets <br />which, though not in exact alignment, are planned for connection by a <br />reverse curve across the Santa Ana River. Most of the right of way <br />for said connection has been acquired, and the Santa Ana Planning <br />Commission has recommended that the name of the Westerly street be <br />changed to afford one uniform name for the East to West traffic way. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after study and report <br />from the Department of Public Works, the City Council hereby changes <br />the name of that certain street within the City of Santa Ana now known <br />as Sugar Avenue to McFadden Avenue. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER REsoLVED: %Rat the Director of Public Works is <br />instructed to place street name signs on Sugar Avenue to show the name <br />heretofore used for said street and tb~ new name herein designated for <br />said street, and said combination street name signs shall be maintained <br />for at least six months from the adoption of this Resolution. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Cit~ Council of the city of Santa Ana <br /> <br />at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of February, 1962. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C~E~K OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCII~MEN: Royal £.
