RESOLUTION NO. ~2-40 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE 'I~E <br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, GARDEN GROVE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY has <br /> <br />presented to the City a deed dated December 11, 1961, conveying an <br /> <br />easement for street purposes on the Southwest corner of Newhope <br /> <br />Street and Sugar Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GLENN H. COPELAND and LORENA B. COPELAND have pre- <br />sented to the City a deed dated February 14, 1962, conveying an <br /> <br />easement for water main purposes on the East side of Berrydale Street, <br /> <br />North of Seventeenth Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, THE GRISET FOUNDATION, a California Non-Profit <br />Organization, has presented to the City a deed dated December 19, <br />1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the South side <br />of Edinger Avenue, West of Center Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, HONER DEVELOPMENT CO., a corporation, has presented <br />to the City a deed dated January 19, 1962, conveying an easement for <br /> <br />street purposes on Buffalo Avenue, West of Flower Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, SUNNY HOMES, INC. has presented to the City a quitclaim <br />deed dated February 13, 1962, quitclaiming to the City a parcel of <br />real property on the East side of Raitt Street, North of Edinger <br /> <br />Avenue, described as: <br /> <br />Lot A, Tract No. 2704, as shown on a map thereof, <br />in Book 116, Pages 19 and 20, Miscellaneous Maps, <br />of Orange County, California; <br /> <br />recorded <br />Records <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being <br />paid to said grantors by the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'IQ%at the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance On said deeds. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
