additional toilet and w~ter closet for each sex, for every fifteen (15) or <br />part thereof in excess of fifteen (15) males or fifteen (15) females, living or <br />staying overnight in said camp ground; provided, however, that the Health Depart- <br />ment may exempt any camp ground existing at the time of the passage of this <br />ordinance from fully complying with the provisions of this section, when, in its <br />discretion, such deviation will not be detrimental to the health of persons <br /> <br /> said ~ ground, or to the proper sanitation of the premises. <br /> SECTION 20: GARBAGE RECEPTACLES <br /> <br /> There shall be provided in every camp ground heretofore or hereafter <br />established, such number of tight receptacles with close fitting metal covers for <br />garbage, refuse, ashes, and rubbish, as may be deemed necessary by the Health <br />Department, and such garbage receptacles shall at all times be maintained in a cle~ <br />and sanitary condition. <br /> <br /> SECTION 21: ~SLOP SINKS <br /> <br /> There shall be provided in every camp g round ~x~re~ofore or hereafter <br /> established one or more slop sinks properly connected with a sewer or cesspool, <br /> such sinks to be conveniently located at no gre~ter distance than one hundred (100~ <br /> feet from any camp car and/or t~tler. <br /> <br /> SECTION 22: REFUSE AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br /> <br /> It ~ha2l be unlawful to permit any waste water or material from sinks, <br /> baths, showers or other plumbing fixtures in, or any waste from, any camp cars <br /> and/or trailers, to be deposited upon the surface of the ground, and all such <br /> fixtures, when in use, must be connected to the city sewer system, or the drainage <br /> <br /> therefrom' must be disposed of in a ~=nner satisfactory to the Health Department. <br /> SECTION 23: LIGHTING <br /> <br /> Every camp ground heretofore or hereafter established shall be provided <br /> with means of light~g the s~ at night, and all public water closets and bath <br /> units shall be provided with sufficient lighting facilities which shall be kept <br /> lighted during the time from one-half hour after sunset until one-half hour before <br /> sunrise. <br /> <br /> SECTION 24: Any ~ter fauuets, toilets, garbage receptacles, or other <br /> equipment required~ by the provisions of this ordinance in camp grounds or which <br /> may hereafter be required by any rules and regulations of the Health Department <br /> pertaining to camp grounds, shall not be construed to mean water faucets, toilets, <br /> garbage receptacles or other equipment now or hereafter located in or adjacent to <br /> camp grounds, and which may already or hereafter be ~equired under provisions or <br /> other laws or ordinances. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2§:~ It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to occupy <br />any camp oar or trailer Li~ 'the CiSy of Santa Aha outside of a camp ground authorize <br />and established as herein provided. The word "occupieS" and "occupy" as herein <br />used, shall mean and be construed to mean, sleeping in, cooking in, or eating in <br />any such camp car or trailer. <br /> <br /> SECTION 26: EACH VIOLATION SEPARATE <br /> <br /> Every person, firm or czrporation violating or contributing in any w ay <br />to the violation of any provision of ~his ordinance shall be dee~ed guilty of <br />separate offense for e ach day ~uring which such violation continues, amd shall be <br /> <br /> <br />
