ORDINANCE NO. 1041 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12 ENTITLED <br />"AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PREVENTION AND PUNISHMENT <br />OF CERTAIN OFFENSES AGAINST THE PEACE, GOOD <br />0RD~R AND HEALTH OF THE TOV~J OF SANTA ANA", AND <br />PROVIDING ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS CONCERNING <br />DRUNKENNESS. <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: That a new section is hereby added to Ordinance No. 12 <br />entitled "An 0rdinance for the Prevention and Punishment of certain offenses <br />against the Peace, Good Order and Health of the Town of Santa Aha", which section <br />shall be numbered Section I and shall be in lieu and in place of the original <br />Section I of said Ordinance, which was repealed by Ordinance No. 219, which said <br />Section I shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section l: (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to be or to appea~ <br />in any public place or in any place open to public view or public admission, or <br />on any street, alley, highway, court, park, railway depot, place or public square <br />or in any automobile, in the City of Santa Aha, in a state of drunkenness or <br />intoxication. <br /> <br /> (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to be on any <br />private premises or in any private house in a state of drunkenness or intoxicatio~ <br />to the annoyance of any other person. <br /> <br /> (c) It shall be unlawful for any person to drink any <br /> <br /> on auy street, alley, highway, court, park, railway depot, plac, <br /> or in any automobile in any public place in the City of Santa <br /> <br />alcoholic liquor, <br />or public square, <br />Anao" <br /> <br /> SECTION <br /> <br /> 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinan~ <br />and shall' cause the same to be published in three conseeutive issues of the <br />ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER, a daily newspaper, printed, published and circulated in <br />the City of Santa Aha, and hereby designated for that purpose, and thirty (30) <br />days thereafter shall take effect and be in force. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Aha at its <br />regular meeting held on the 15th day of March, 1937. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />E.
