and no vehicle shall be turned to the left at any intersection when there is any <br />sign or marker indicating that a left turn is prohibited. Said signs may be <br />posted at or near the entrance to or in the center of any intersection." <br /> <br />SECTION 4: That Bection 10 of said Ordinance is hereby amended so at <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 10. TURNING AT .IN~$RSECTIONS. <br /> <br /> The City Council shall b$ resolution designate what curb or curbing of <br />public highways within the City of Santa Ana shall be painted the colors provided <br />for in Section 9 hereof, and when said council shall so designate, then such <br />locations shall be so painted. The City Council shall also designate by resolu- <br />tion any and all intersections at which limited movements of traffic will be <br />permitted, and upon such designation signs in conformity with such resolutions <br />shall be erected at or near such intersections. Nothing herein contained shall <br />be construed to prohibit the use of temporary restrictions upon traffic by the <br />Chief of Police or Police Department." <br /> <br />SECTION 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br /> <br />ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of <br /> <br />the ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in <br /> <br />the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose, and thirty (30) <br /> <br />days thereafter shall take effect and be in force. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Aha at its <br /> <br />regular meeting held on the 21st day of June, 1937. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> E. <br /> <br />L.
