~rdinance, such owner Shall be deemed to be operating such machine or apparatus in <br />violation of the provisions of this ordinance and such person shall be subject to the <br />penalties hereafter provided for such violation. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6: Every person violating or failing, neglecting or refusing to <br />comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis- <br />demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Three <br />Hundred ($300.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or <br />by both such fine and imprisonment, and each such person shall be deemed guilty of a <br />separate offense for each day during any portion of which the violation of or failure, <br />neglect or refusal to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance is commnitted, <br />continued or permitted. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith <br />are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance <br />and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the ORANGE <br />COUNTY REPORTER, a daily newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of <br />Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose, and thirty (30) days thereafter shall <br />take effect and be in force. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Aua at its regular <br />meeting held on the 19th day of July, 1937. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> E.
