ORDINanCE NO. 1052 <br /> <br />Ait ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER RATES IN THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, PRESCRIBING RULES AND REGUIATIONS <br />GOVERNING CONSUMPTION OF WATER AND FIXING A PENALTY <br />FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICTHEREWITH. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AI1A DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: The City of Santa Ama shall charge and collect, in advance, <br />each tap and attachment made with its system of water works as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />For each <br />For each <br />For each <br />For each <br /> <br />for <br /> <br /> SERVICE CHARGES <br />5/8 in. service, complete $ 10.00 <br />1-inch service, complete 20.00 <br />l~ in. service, complete 35.00 <br />2-inch service, complete 50.00 <br /> <br /> For all larger sizes of service and all fire lines, actual cost of labor and <br />materials used for service complete, plus l0 per cent (10%) shall be charged. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: The following rates and compensation are hereby fixed and <br />established as the rates and compensation to be charged and collected by the Santa Ana <br />Water Department, for water furnished by said department. <br /> <br /> MINIMUM ~TER RATES <br /> <br /> For each 5/8" or 3/4" service $ 1.00 <br /> For each 1" service 1.25 <br /> For each 1~" service 2.25 <br /> For each 2" service 3.25 <br /> For each 3" service 4.75 <br /> For each 4" service V.25 <br /> For each 6" service 9.75 <br /> METER RATES <br /> <br /> 1. For the first 1000 cu.ft, or less <br /> in any one month $ 1.00 <br /> <br /> 2. For the next 3,000 cu.ft, or less <br /> at the rate of $.10 per 100 cu.ft. <br /> <br /> 3.For the next 21,000 cu.ft, at the <br /> rate of $.08 per 100 cu.fto <br /> <br /> 4. For all over 25,000 cu.ft, used in <br /> any one month at the rate of $.07 <br /> per 100 cu. ft. <br /> <br /> FLAT RATE <br /> <br /> Ail water services where no meter is installed shall pay a monthly rate of <br />$1.25, payable in advance. <br /> <br /> For construction purposes where meters <br /> <br />1. For each 100 lin.ft, of curb $ .25 <br />2. For each 100 sq. ft. of cement sidewalks .15 <br />3. For each 100 sq.ft, of concrete pavement .15 <br />4. For each 100 sq. ft. of pavement subgrade .05 <br /> <br />5. For each 100 lin.ft, of sewer, water or <br /> gas ditch settled 1.00 <br /> <br />6. For each 100 yards of plaster .25 <br /> <br />7.
