ORDINANCE N,0.. 1059 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CHANGING THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />IN SAID CITY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />.S. ECTION 1: That Zoning Ordinance No. 809 of the City of Santa Ana is <br /> <br />hereb~ amended and the zone upon all that certain real property now in "Heavy <br /> <br />Industrial District" located and described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the South line <br />of West First Street with the West line of Bristol <br />Street, thence Westerly along the South line of <br />West First Street to the Northeast corner of Lot <br />3, Tract No. 259, thence South to the Southeast <br />corner of said Lot 3, thence West to an intersection <br />with the East line of Artesia Street, thence North <br />along the East line of Artesia Street to the South <br />line of West First Street, thence Westerly along the <br />South line of West First Street to an ~ntersection <br />with the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly <br />line of Townsend Street, thence North to an inter- <br />section with the South line of the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company's Right of Way; thence Northwesterly <br />along the Southwesterly line of said Pacific Electric <br />R~ilway Company's Right of Way to its intersection <br />with the South line of Fifth Street; thence Westerly <br />along the South line of Fifth Street to its intersect- <br />ion with the Westerly boundary line of the City of <br />Santa Ana; thence Southwesterly along the Westerly <br />boundary line of the City of Santa Ana to angle point <br />in the said boundary line, w here the said boundary <br />line turns Easterly; thence Easterly along the said <br />boundary line to the center line of Sullivan Street; <br />thence Southerly along the center line of Sullivan <br />Street to the center line of Monte Vista Avenue; thence <br />East along city boundary line to the Westerly line <br />of Bristol Street; thence Northerly along the Westerly <br />line of Bristol Street to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />EXCEPTING such portions as were zoned for special use or <br />business zone heretofore, <br /> <br />is hereby changed from "Heavy Industrial District" to "Single Family Residence <br /> <br />District", as defined in said Ordinance No. 809. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br /> <br />Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues <br /> <br />of the ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER, a daily newspaper, printed, published and <br /> <br />circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose, <br /> <br />and thirty (30) days thereafter shall take effect and be in force. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br /> <br />regular m~eting held on the 20th day of December, 1937. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />E. ,L.
