135 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE N0. 1072 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. <br />1052, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTAB- <br />LISHING WATER RATES IN THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, PRESCRIBING RULES AND <br />REGUIATIONS GOVERNING CONSUMPTION OF <br />WATER AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR THE <br />VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", <br />AND PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN WATER <br />RATES. <br /> <br />THE COU~UIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWB: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1052 entitled "~ ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br /> <br />WATER RATES IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, PRESCRIBING RUEES AND REGULATIONS G0¥~LkNING <br /> <br />CONSUMPTION OF WATFi~ AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR THE VI0~ATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING <br /> <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", as amended by Ordinance No. 1067, is hereby amended <br /> <br />by amending Section 2~ thereof to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 2~: That the following rates and compensation are hereby fixed <br /> <br />and established as the rates and compensation to be charged and collected by the <br /> <br />Santa Ana Water Dep~rtment for water furnished by said department upon all meter <br /> <br />readings made subsequent to the 1st day of January, 1939, and prior to December 31, <br /> <br />1939. For each 100 lin.fte <br /> ditch settled <br /> <br />of concrete pavement <br />of pavement subgrade <br />of sewer, water or gas <br /> <br />6.
