RESOLUTION NO. 62-?9 ACCEPTING DEEDS AND INDENTURES <br />WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT A. SMITH and LOUISE I. SMITH have presented <br /> <br />to the City a deed dated April 10, 1962, conveying an easement for <br /> <br />street purposes on the West half of Cascade Street at Twelfth Street; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation, <br />has presented to the City a deed dated March 26, 1962, conveying an <br />easement for drainage purposes at the Northeast corner of Bristol <br />Street and Washington Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, C. W. TODD and FRANCES W. TODD have presented to the <br />City a deed dated April 11, 1962, conveying an easement for water <br />utility purposes East of Bristol Street along the North side of the <br />Westerly extension of West Orange Road; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY, a California <br />corporation, has presented to the City an indenture dated March 30, <br />1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on Fairview Street, <br />South of Eighth Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PACIF~ ELECTRIC RAILWAY COM~NY a California <br />corporation, has presented to the city an indenture dated April 6, <br />1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on Susan Street, North <br />of Talbert Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds and indentures are without cash <br />consideration being paid to said grantors by the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deeds and indentures, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's <br />designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance <br />on said instruments. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
