192 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. ?92 <br />ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA, REGULATING THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS TIi~0UGH <br />0R UPON PUBLIC S~REETS, A?.r~I~S, LANES AND OTHER <br />PUBLIC PLACES; PROVIDING FOR A BOND TO BE FILED <br />AND PERMIT ISSUED; ~EQUIRING THE PROTECTION OF <br />Ak EQUIPMENT BE~0NGING TO PUBLIC UTILITY CORP- <br />ORATIONS AND RAILROADS AND PROVIIENG A PENALTY <br />FOR T~E BREACH OF ANY OF THE TERM~ THEREOF", AS <br />AMENDED. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That 0rdina~ce No. 792, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF TtiE CIT~ <br /> <br />OF SANTA ANA, REGULATING THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS ~0UGH OR UPON PUBLIC STREETS, <br /> <br />ALLEYS, LANES AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES; PROVIDING FOR A BOND TO BE FILED AND PERMIT <br /> <br />ISSue; HEQUIRING TNE PROTECTION OF ~',?, EQUIP~NT BELONGING TO PUBLIC UTILITY <br /> <br />CORPORATIONS AND RAILROADS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE BREACH OF ANY OF T~E <br /> <br />TERMB THEREOF", as amended, by Ordinance No. 797, and Ordinance No. 866, be <br /> <br />further amended by adding thereto a new section at the e~d of Section 4 thereof, <br /> <br />which new section shall be numbered Section 4a and shall read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION Aa. In the event h6wever, the permit <br />to move a house shall provide that said house <br />shall be moved outside of the city limits of <br />the City of Santa Aha, the sum of Ten Dollars <br />$10eO0) shall be the cost of the permit for <br />moving said building, and the provision for <br />three ($0.05) cents for each additional square <br />foot or part thereof in excess of five hundred <br />(500) square feet shall not apply". <br /> <br />SECTION R: The City Clerk shall'certify to the passage of this ordinance <br /> <br />and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the Santa <br /> <br />Aha Independent, a newspaper printed, published and circulated iu the City of <br /> <br />Santa Aha, And hereby designated for that purpose. This ordinance shall take <br /> <br />effect SO days f~omand after its adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City Of Santa Aha at its <br /> <br />regular meeting held on the <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />6th day of May, 1940. <br /> <br />E.
