RESOLUTION NO. 62-85 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE <br />CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~_~has presented to the City a deed <br />dated April 24, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes over <br />the East half of Jackson Street, North of Camille Street, in consid- <br />eration of the payment of $500.00. Said transaction is to be handled <br />through Escrow No. 47670-C with Security Title Insurance Company, <br />Santa Aha, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, VIRGIL b. PAXTQN and FLORENCE B. PAXTON have presented <br />to the City a deed dated May 3, 1962, conveying easements for street <br />purposes at the Northeast corner of Sullivan and Willits Streets, in <br />consideration of the payment of $8,000.00 for relocation of the house <br />only; no consideration is being paid for the land. Said transaction <br />is to be handled through Escrow No. 329723 WLC with Title Insurance <br />and Trust Company, Santa Ana, california; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, P.Y~_~_and ~W~GHT BIRCH have presented to the <br />City a deed dated April 30, 1962, conveying a parcel of real property <br />for Civic Center purposes on the West side of Garnsey Street, North of <br />Sixth Street, in consideration of the payment of $16,590.00, $200.00 of <br />which sum represents agreed reimbursement for moving expenses. Said <br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow NO. 47751-C with Security <br />Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City'.s designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of May, 1962. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> OF T~ COUNCIL <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
