RESOLUTION NO. 62-90 . AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br />OF REAL PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THIRD <br />AND BUSH STREETS AND DECLARING THE PUBLIC NECESSITY <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the site of the City Hall at Third and Main Streets <br />is completely occupied by building and allows no area for parking or <br />other use, and an additional area should be acquired to provide <br />parking for official cars and to provide other services in connection <br />with the City Hall. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that public interest <br /> <br />and necessity require that the property lying immediately East of the <br /> <br />present City Hall be acquired for use in connection with said City <br /> <br />Hall and to accc~unodate present and future demands for area in said <br /> <br />location, and further require that the city do have, take and acquire, <br /> <br />in fe~ for said purpose that certain land in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: That portion of Lot 8 of the Re-Subdivision of <br />Block 7 of the Town of Santa Aha, in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California as per map recorded <br />in Book 5, Page 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of <br />the county recorder of said county, described as follows: <br />Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 8; thence <br />South along the West line of said Lot, 15 feet; thence <br />East parallel with the North line of said Lot, 30 feet; <br />thence North parallel with the West line of said Lot, <br />15 feet to the North line thereof; thence West along said <br />North line 30 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: Lot 9 of the Re-Subdivision of Block 7 of the <br />Town of Santa Ana, in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California, as per map recorded in Book 5, Page 46 <br />of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder <br />of said County. <br /> <br />PARCEL 3: An easement to be used jointly by the owners of <br />Lots 8 and 9 of the Re-Subdivision of Block 7 of the Town of <br />Santa Aha, in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State <br />of California, as per map recorded in Book 5, Page 46 of <br />Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of <br />said County, for ingress and egress over and the laying of <br />water, sewer and other pipes and of public utility facilities <br />under that portion of said Lot 8 described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Northeast corner of Parcel 1 above described; <br />thence East along the North line of said Lot 8, 10 feet; <br />thence South along a line parallel with the West line of said <br />Lot 8, 25 feet; thence West along a line parallel with the <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
