RESOLUTION NO. 62-100 DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY <br />PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE AT THE HEARING ON PROTESTS <br />AGAINST ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SANTA <br />CLARA AND WRIGHT, NORTHWEST ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 62-72 the City Council initiated <br />proceedings to annex territory under the designated name of "SANTA <br />CLARA AND WRIGHT, NORTHWEST ANNEX", and in said Resolution and in <br />mailed notices gave notice of public hearing to be held on May 21, <br />1962, for the receiving and passing upon protests against said <br />annexation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it became apparent that a majority of the members of <br />the City Council would be absent from the City of Santa Ana on May 21, <br />1962, and mailed notices of said fact were sent to all owners in said <br />territory informing them that the meeting could not be held and would <br />have to be adjourned until June 4, 1962, and on May 21st, 1962, at the <br />hour of said meeting, there being no councilmen present, the Clerk of <br />the Council did declare that since there was no quorum the meeting was <br />adjourned to 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers on June 4, 1962. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after due hearing as <br />required by law, the City Council finds and declares that a majority <br />protest against the annexation initiated by Resolution No. 62-72, under <br />the name of "SANTA CLARA AND WRIGHT, NORTHWEST ANNEX", has not been <br />made. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of June, 1962. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />OF COU CZ5 <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
