<br />this ordinance, a license fee based on the gross annual receipts as follows:

<br /> Sec. 101: For every person, film or corporation engaged in the business
<br />of ticket office, travel bureau, travel exchange, transportation exchange,
<br />transportation or travel broker or agent, or agency of similar import where the
<br />applicant for a license does not have a certificate of public conveyance and
<br />necessity to conduct such business from either the Railroad Commission of the
<br />State of California or the Interstate Commerce Commission of the United States
<br />of America, a license fee of $3 per quarter.
<br />
<br /> Sec. 102: For every person, film or corporation engaged in the business
<br />of general repairs, where no fixed place of business is established in the City
<br />of Santa Ana, including refrigerator repairs, gas repairs or electrical repairs,
<br />a license fee of $3 per quarter."
<br />
<br />Section 2.: That Section 73 of Ordinance No. 658 is hereby repealed.
<br />
<br /> Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
<br />herewith are repealed.
<br />
<br /> Section 4: If any section, part of section, sentence, clause or phrase
<br />of this ordinance shall be held to be unconstitutional or invalid, the remaining
<br />portions hereof nevertheless shall remain in full force and effect.
<br />
<br /> Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
<br />of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive
<br />issues of the Santa Ana Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated
<br />in the City of Santa Ana and hereby designated for that purpose. This ordinance
<br />shall take effect on January l, 1946.

<br />regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December, 1945.
