0RDINANCE~.0. 1186 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 10V4 <br /> <br />~HEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha duly declare~ <br />its intention so to do, and gave notice of public meetings as required by law, <br /> <br />and duly held two public meetings upon the question of the amendments herein <br />contained, and thereafter recommended the same to the City Council for adoption, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a public hear- <br />ing to be held before the City Council, and such public hearing has been duly <br />and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public necessity <br />required the following amendments and changes in the present classifications of <br />certain property in the City of Santa Ana, and that the proposed uses ~de~ the <br />proposed new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Santa Ana do ordain as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION ~: That Sheet No. 23 of the Districting Map of the City of <br />Santa Aha of said Ordinance No. 1074, entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br />DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND <br />USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THEHEIGHT OF <br />BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID <br />DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUST- <br />MENT, AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION <br />AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES AMENDATORYTHEREOF OR <br />SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify as R-2 all property now classified as R-l~ <br />and lying within the following described exterior boundary line, to-wit: <br /> <br /> S~a~ting at~a point l~S feet South and 30 feet West <br /> of the point of intersection of center lines of l?t~ <br /> Street and Bristol (or 150 feet South of the South- <br /> west corner of 1Vth Street and Bristol Street) and <br /> extending 888.92 feet South therefrom; thence west- <br /> ward 2018.42 feet; thence northward ;$79.0~ feet; <br /> thence eastward 201~.63 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> That said Districting Map so amended is attached hereto and hereby <br />adopted and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br />ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues <br />of the SANTA ANA REGISTER, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the <br />City of S~nta Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose.
