RESOLUTION NO. 62-139 GRANTING A PERMIT TO PACIFIC ELECTRIC <br />RAILWAY COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION ANDMAINTENANCE OF AN IN- <br />DUSTRIAL DRILL TRACK AT GRADE ACROSS HUNTZINGERAVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY on June 14, 1962 <br />applied for a permit to construct a drill tract as hereinbelow set <br />out and after study and negotiation the City Council has determined <br />that said permit should be granted. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby grants to the PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COM- <br />PANY, a Corporation, a permit to construct, reconstruct, maintain <br />and operate an industrial drill tract at grade across that portion <br />of Huntzlnger Avenue which is located in the City of Santa Ana, <br />California, approximately 1197 feet Easterly of Harbor Boulevard, <br />the center line of which is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of Hunt- <br /> zinger Avenue, 40 feet wide, in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> County of Orange, State of California, said point being <br /> Easterly thereon, measured along said Northerly line, <br /> 1197.82 feet frc~ the Easterly line of Harbor Boulevard, <br /> 80 feet wide; thence Southerly 40 feet to a point in the <br /> South line of said Huntzinger Avenue, said point being <br /> Easterly thereon, measured along said <So~th line, 1197.79 <br /> feet from the Southerly prolongation of the Easterly line <br /> of said Harbor Boulevard <br /> <br />and there is attached hereto, a drawing, No. A.E. 15738, which <br />drawing is by this reference incorporated herein showing the pro- <br />posed location of said tract in red. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said permit is granted upon the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Railway Company do the following at their expense: <br /> <br /> a. Replace all existing improve~ents removed in constructing <br />the tracks in accordance with City standards. <br /> <br /> b. Reconstruct the grade and width of Huntzinger Avenue <br />to conform to the proposed grade of the tracks and the master plan <br />width in accordance with City standards. <br /> <br /> c. Construct drainage culverts under the proposed tracks <br />in accordance with City standards. <br /> <br /> d. Install any crossing protection devices, present or <br />future, d~-~ned necessary by the State Public Utilities Commission. <br />These devices may include, but are not limited to, automatic flashing <br />lights, automatic gates, and/or fixed signs. <br /> <br /> <br />
