ORDINA.NCE NO. 1180 <br /> <br /> 0RDIN~NCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given <br />notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with the application <br />to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and <br />has duly held two public meetlnge upon the question of such amendment, and <br />thereafter, by resolution, recommended the same to the City Council for <br />adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a public <br />hearing to be held before the City Council, and such public hearing has been <br />duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public <br />necessity requires the following amendment and change in the present classifica- <br />tion of certain property in the City of Santa Ana and that the proposed uses <br />under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Sheet 14 of the Dietrictlng Map of the City of Santa <br />Aha of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled"AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DISTRICTS %~THIN <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ~IA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES AND <br />REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS <br />AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTI4ATION; ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; <br />DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, <br />AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES AMENDATORY THEREOF OR <br />SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify aa R-3 all property now classified as R-1 <br />and lying within the exterior boundary lines of the property described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Ail of Lot Four (4) of Block "B" of Goepper's <br /> addition to the City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />Said property is located on the northerly side of Nineteenth Street between <br />North Broadway and Victoria Drive, Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> That said Districting Map so amended is attached hereto and hereby <br />adopted and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City Clerk shall .certify to the pessage of this <br />ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues <br />of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose.
