ORDIN~CE NO. 1181 ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074. '~HEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with the application to ~men~ the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the question of such amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recommended the same to the City Council for adoption; and · WHEREAS, the City Oouncil gave due and regular notice of a public hearing to be held before the City Council, and ~uch public hearing has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public necessity requires the following amendment and change in the present classification of certain' property in the City of Santa Ana and that the pro- posed uses under the propsed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Sheet No. 15 of the Distr~cting Map of the City of Santa Ana of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE OITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES ~ND BEGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A F~AP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANOE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT; AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION A~D REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES AMENDATORY THEREOF OR BUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR P~/~TS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify the following property, to wit: 8.28 acres, lying between Patton Street on the East and Flower Street on the West, Fifteenth Street on the South and Seventeenth Street on the North, excepting the North 150 feet thereof, aa follows: The North 50 feet of said property to be reclassified as C-l, and the balance of said property to be reclassified as R-3. That said Districting Map so amended is attached hereto and hereby adopted and made a part hereof. Section ~: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby designated for that purpose. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April, 1948.
