ORDINANCE ~0' ll6~. ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074. WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given notice of public meetings aa required by law in connection with the application to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and has duly held two'public meetings upon the question of such amendment, and thereafter~ by resolution, recommended the same to the City Council for adoption; and wHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a public hearing to be held before the City Council, and such puOlic hearing has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public necessity requires the following amendment and change in the present classification of certain property in the City of Santa Aha and ~hat the proposed uses under the propoeed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrouneing property; NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: T~at Sheet No. S of ~he Districting Map of the City of Santa Aha of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANOE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT,AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES AMENDATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify as M-1 all property now classified as R-3 within the f~llowing described exterior boundary line, to wit: The East one-half (E~) of Blocks 64, 65, 66 and 67 of Santa Aha East, also known as the area bound on the East by Poinsettia Street, on the North by Vance Street, the South by East Sixth Street, and on the West by the alley running North and South immediately to the West of Poinsettia Street. That said Districting Map so amended is attached hereto and hereby adopted and made a part hereof. Section B: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall eause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby designated for that purpose. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after its adoption.
