ORDINANCE NO- 1].75 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given <br />notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with the application <br />to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter deecribed, <br />and has duly held two public meetings upon the question of such amendment, and <br />thereafter, by resolution, recommended the same to the City Council for adoption; <br />and <br /> <br /> '¢~EREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a public <br />hearing to be held before the City Council, and such public hearing has been <br />duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public <br />necessity requires the following amemdment and change in the present class- <br />ification of certain property in the City of Santa Ana and that the proposed <br />uses under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~tEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section l: That Sheet 19 of the Districting Map of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DISTRICTS <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES <br />AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS: REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF <br />BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATTON: ADOPTING A NAP OF SAID <br />DISTRICTS: DEFINING THE TERNS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE: PROVIDING FOR THE <br />ADJUSTMENT, A~ENDM~NT AND ENFORCE~ENT THEREOF: PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS <br />VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES ANENDATORY THEREOF <br />OR SUPPLE~iENTARY T]:ERET0, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br /> <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify as R-3 all property now class'ified <br />as R-1 and R-2 and lying within the exterior boundary lines of the property <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> All that real property bonnded on the North by the South line of <br /> West Seventeenth St.; on the South by a line parallel to said <br /> South line of West Seventeenth St. and 175 feet South thereof; <br /> on the East by a line llO feet East of and parallel to the East <br /> line of Freeman St. extended North; and on the West by the center <br /> line of North Towner St. extended North. <br /> <br /> That said Districting Nap so amended is attached hereto and <br /> <br />hereby adopted and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br />ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive <br />issues of the Santa Ana Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated <br />in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose.
