OREIE CE SO. <br /> <br />O~DINANCE ~J~ENDIN~ ~ONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074 <br /> <br /> W~REAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha has <br /> given notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with <br /> the application to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties <br /> hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the <br /> question of such amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recommended <br /> to the City Counct~ for adoption an amendment to such zoning ordinance <br /> covering a portion of the property included in such application and here- <br /> inafter described; and <br /> <br /> W~REAB, the City Council gave due and regu_lar notice of a public <br /> heaming to be held before the City Council, and such public hearing <br /> has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that <br /> public necessity requires the following amendment and change in the. pres- <br /> ent classification of certain property in the City of Santa Aha and that <br /> the proposed uses under the proposed new classification will not be de- <br /> trimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Sheet 18 of the Districting Map of the City of <br />Santa Aha of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AH ORDi~4A~CE ESTABLISHING <br />DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA AMA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS <br />OF LAND USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING <br />THE HEIGET OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPT- <br />ING A ~AP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE; <br />PROVIDING FOR TRE ADJUST~E~T, ~.NDNENT AND ENFORCENENT THEREOF;. PRESCRIB- <br />ING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND KEPEALING ORDINANCE NO. $09 AND ALL <br />ORDINANCES A~E~DATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES <br />OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify <br />as C-1 all p~operty now classified as R-5, described as follows: <br /> <br /> The East 65 feet of the West one-half (W~) of the Block <br /> bounded as follows: On the East by North Main ~treet; on <br /> the West by North Sycamore Street; on the North by West <br /> Washington Avenue; and on the South by W.
